The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS-Kinderdorf Göppingen–Stuttgart is part of the SOS-Kinderdorf e. V. with headquarters in Munich. At the Göppingen and Stuttgart sites, the facility offers a wide range of offers for children and youth assistance. At the Göppingen site, child and youth assistance includes, among other things, school social work, outpatient assistance for education, inclusion offers, open child and youth work, refugee work and a group of unaccompanied minor refugees. The Stuttgart site includes a children's and district centre with a daycare centre, a PLUS district centre in the Fasanenhof with an outskirts in Heumaden (Stadtteiltreff) as well as the offer “Spiele at home” in the area of early aid. Around 125 employees from different professions work closely together at both locations. In this versatile position, you will actively develop the public work of our institution. You help to make our educational work visible, create confidence and communicate our values to the outside.

Your tasks in detail: Planning, implementation and continuous development of public relations work for Göppingen–Stuttgart – strategic, creative and target group oriented Creating, editing and designing texts, graphics and articles for website, social media as well as print and online formats Care and development of our website through a content management system (CMS) internal coordination and close networking – in particular with regard to regional and cross-border campaigns Support in planning, organizing and supporting events, actions and public formats close cooperation with the pedagogical professionals from the various fields of work of the institution – supported by genuine interest, understanding of pedagogical work and a consistent, conscientious implementation of the protection of children and persons

a successfully completed study or qualified training in the field of communication, media or public relations, ideally complemented by practical experience in the social or non-profit environment very good written expressability as well as a fine sense of targeted, value-adding communication safe handling of Adobe InDesign, Canva and MS Office as well as experience in working with content management systems a structured, independent and reliable operation with a good look for details and priorities high social competence, team skills and responsibility a clear identification with the values of SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. as well as a professional approach to children, young people and families
