Conception and implementation of laboratory experiments with healthy subjects and patients. Investigation of the influence of cognitive and emotional factors (e.g. self-effectiveness) on emotional learning (e.g. anxiety, anxiety, generalization) Publication of results in renowned journals. Active participation in project planning and application of funding.

A completed doctoral degree in psychology, neuroscience, biology or a related subject. Research experience in experimental and/or clinical psychology and cognitive neuroscience. Experience in the design and implementation of laboratory studies. Knowledge gained in experimental research on emotional learning (e.g. anxiety conditioning, associative learning) is an advantage. routine use of analysis of behavioral and psychophysiological data tools, including statistical evaluations (e.g. R, Python, MATLAB). Knowledge of psychophysiological methods (e.g. skin conductivity reaction, EEG, eye tracking or the like) is advantageous. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German. The RUB is a university with international broadcasting. Campus languages are German and English. Competence in at least one of the two languages and the willingness to acquire the other are assumed.
