The Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA) is the real estate service provider of the federal government, which supports the real estate policy objectives of the federal government and provides the necessary areas and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Accordingly, we are represented throughout Germany with over 7,000 employees and take care of a very broad and colourful real estate portfolio as well as the ecological use and care of the federal nature areas. With the management and continuous optimization of the IT infrastructure, we ensure secure and smooth digital processes in the Information Technology business unit. As a modern IT unit, we advise on all content, process and economic issues. We continuously develop the BImA’s “digital nervous system”. We need you for that! Take us BImA! The recruitment is effected indefinitely in accordance with the public service collective agreement (TVöD Bund) in the remuneration group 12. Depending on the applicant's situation, an additional fixed-term allowance of up to 1,500 euros may be considered monthly.

As an expert, you take the responsibility to develop and maintain our core system SAP. This gives you a valuable contribution to making our over 7,000 employees work effectively and efficiently. You develop and handle one of our SAP S/ 4HANA applications from SD, MM or DRC. You control, accompany and conduct IT developments. You will never lose sight of quality assurance through appropriate tests. You coordinate our external service providers:in the IT development and operation. Also in trouble management, where you develop sustainable solutions, these are controlled and controlled by you. You accept change requests as part of the IT change management in the SAP Solution Manager, analyze them and implement them. You plan and control all steps until the productive introduction of further developments in the SAP S/4HANA environment. Your tasks require the ability to work independently, thoroughly and structuredly. We work flexibly and mobile. Occasionally, however, service travel may be required. These trips are usually planned in time to ensure a good reconciliation of family and profession.

Training: You have completed university studies (Bachelor or Fachhochschulen) in computer science, economic information technology, geoinformatics, economic engineering, or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you have a career capability for the advanced technical service. Experience: You have at least 3 years of practical experience in IT development and have knowledge and experience in the SAP environment (preferably in SD, MM or DRC). You are familiar with cooperation with external service companies and their management. Know-how: You have knowledge and experience in customizing and handling development tools (ideally with SAP Object Navigator, Business Application Studio or S4HANA Studio). Your knowledge of the execution of fault analyses and troubleshooting ensure a smooth running of the systems. Personality: Your solution-oriented behavior, your care and your good expressiveness (word and writing) in German help you work in the team.
