We are looking for an experienced and committed full lawyer (m/w/d) with the focus on IT law to advise on the establishment of the IPAI as a Global Home of Human AI (www.ip.ai) and to clarify and implement legal questions on artificial intelligence (AI).

Your tasks

• Legal advice on the implementation of digital business processes, in particular IT and technology projects
• Independent processing of inquiries, in particular in the fields of IT law, AGB law, EU regulators and e-commerce
• Analysis of relevant EU regulations in the field of digital regulation, in particular the AI Regulation (e.g., AI Act), e-commerce directives and platform regulators, as well as the following legal advice in the design/implementation of the digital business processes
• Identification and assessment of legal risks in the aforementioned legal areas incl. Preparation of recommendations for action for the internal field
• Creation and negotiation of contracts in the aforementioned legal areas
• Control of external law firms

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies of law with the second state amen
• Multiannual professional experience in IT law (three years), ideally in a firm or legal department of a company
• Knowledge of EU requirements in the field of e-commerce and platform regulators, as well as preferably in the field of artificial intelligence, in particular their importance and implementation in business environments, and the ability to keep up with current developments
• Interest in technological trends and their legal impact
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking and a high degree of self-responsibility
• Commitment and enthusiasm
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
