We are looking for a personality with profound knowledge and practical experience in the areas of electronic components and integrated circuits, including their applications. Knowledge in the field of energy-efficient electronics, high-frequency technology or power electronics is desirable. You take over the exciting task of establishing the field of competence in research and teaching. You ensure practical relevance through close cooperation with regional and supra-regional companies and research partners and build an application and transfer-oriented network. For this purpose, an initial equipment and access to the Institute of Communication Technology is connected to the professorship. In the field of teaching, you will also take lectures in the field of basic education and will also engage in applied research as well as in the transfer of technology and knowledge between university and business. As you participate in the exchange at our international partner universities, we require your willingness to also offer English-speaking courses.

In addition to the tasks in teaching, further education, research and development, professors are to engage in the self-governing bodies of the faculty and the Technical University of Ulm. Through your commitment to THU's self-management, you can significantly influence the development of our university.
