Technical Buyer (m/w/d)

Our client is a medium-sized industrial company based in Munich West. The company has its own development and production capacities and focuses on long-term, practical quality solutions for professional users who have been awarded several times within their niche. Thanks to a lean corporate structure, decisions are made quickly and customer-oriented.

In the course of a long-term succession scheme, we are looking for a technical buyer (m/w/d) with experience in strategic and operational purchasing in the production environment. As part of the management, you take responsibility for purchasing and make recommendations. Your existing and specially built suppliers will serve you as a strong negotiating partner. In addition, you will visit the production site in Slovakia every 6-8 weeks as a saving partner for production and will be responsible for raw material planning.

Responsibility for the operational purchasing of technical components, assemblies and raw materials Management of strategic purchasing, including supplier evaluation, development and negotiation Ensuring production supply taking into account delivery times, stocks and capacities Creation and conclusion of framework agreements and price and contract negotiations Close cooperation with production, construction, quality assurance and logistics Regular travel to Slovakia to suppliers and production partners (approximately every 6 to 8 weeks) Participation in make-or-buy decisions and technical evaluation processes

Successfully completed studies focusing on business management, procurement, production, supply chain Alternatively a completed commercial or technical training Found experience in operational and strategic technical procurement Safe handling of technical drawings and lists Embossed negotiation skills and cost awareness Structured, process-oriented working with a high sense of responsibility Communication strength in handling suppliers and internal specialist departments readiness for regular missions, especially in Slovakia (all 6 to 8 weeks) Hands-on mentality as well as a high degree of self-initiative and decision-making
