Designing products: Together with development teams, you evaluate components and assemblies in terms of feasibility, cost and ease of assembly and bring your expertise in early development phases.

Developing production processes: You analyze manufacturing processes such as punching, bending, welding or cutting and define the optimal manufacturing strategy for new and existing metal components.

Evaluate technologies: You identify innovative manufacturing and assembly technologies, develop evaluation criteria and help transfer technical potentials into concrete solutions.

Connecting interfaces: You work closely with development, production and suppliers and ensure that technical requirements are successfully implemented in production.

Make decisions: You carry out make-or-buy analyses, evaluate opportunities and risks and guide well-founded recommendations for the long-term orientation of our manufacturing strategy.

Ensure quality: You ensure compliance with technical standards, check drawings and designs and support risk and process assessments throughout the product lifecycle.

Your profile Know-how: You have a degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, manufacturing technology or a comparable field of expertise.

Expertise: You bring well-founded knowledge in the industrialization and production of metallic components and know methods such as punching, bending, welding or cutting from practice.

Analytical thinking: You understand complex technical relationships and find pragmatic and economic solutions.

Team spirit: You like to work at interfaces and move safely between development, production, purchasing and suppliers.

Own Responsibility: You take responsibility, meet decisions based on data and facts, and drive topics forward independently.
