You are responsible for the planning, design and implementation of complex IT infrastructures based on ArcGIS Enterprise (ESRI) and their system administration. In addition, plan and control further developments in GIS infrastructures and evaluate new technologies in the field of open source GIS systems. You run projects with cross-departmental interfaces and coordinate external GIS requests. You drive forward the technical infrastructure of Hessian administration and develop complex IT solutions in close cooperation with internal and external partners.

You have a completed relevant higher education of geoinformatics, computer science or a comparable degree course or you have comparable knowledge. You have several years of experience in dealing with ArcGIS Enterprise (ESRI), Open Source GIS (QGIS o.a.), OGC Services, Java, FME (Feature Manipulation Engine), Tomcat. You have several years of experience in management, IT service management and infrastructure management based on ITIL in heterogeneous IT infrastructures. You have good knowledge of virtualization and data center technologies as well as IT security and data protection. You have many years of experience in overall and multi-project management You are analytical, planned and targeted at difficult and complex tasks and bring them to a successful conclusion. Cooperation, holistic thinking and outcome-oriented action complete your profile. A successful security check by the HZD is a prerequisite for an adjustment.
