LoTTE quality of life optimise through participation, therapy and emphaty. LoTTE Gerontosurgery at the UKL is a multimodal concept for improving treatment outcomes and reconvalescence around the surgical procedure, for patients aged 65 and over with more than five pre-disorders. These include intensive cooperation in the interdisciplinary team, the optimal pre-treatment of patients:inside those considered to be a holistic individual and the promotion of patient adherence:inside to active participation in the treatment process. Our goal is to reduce complications, avoid postoperative stress and improve postoperative recovery. So that patients can quickly return to their usual everyday life. Tasks

• Accompanying patient: within 65 with more than 5 pre-disorders over the entire treatment period of a planned elective surgery (pre-, peri- and post-stationary) in the MKG clinic
• Patient:industry and advice on prehabilitation and geriatric complex treatment
• Implementation of geriatric screenings and assessments
• Interdisciplinary cooperation and key position in the interdisciplinary team
• Training and advice of all collaborators: women on special topics of Geriatrics
• Working with new projects to implement and evaluate geriatric supply structures at the UKL
• 50% activity in the stationary area MKG and 50% activity in the team LoTTE for the department MKG

That's what you bring

• completed vocational training Health and nursing:in or nursing:wife
• relevant professional experience in MKG
• Continuing education in the geriatric field, completed bachelor's degree programme Care Science desirable or Ready to complete
• High operational readiness to implement and create geriatric supply structures in terms of structure, process and result at the UKL and beyond
• Team skills, communication skills, openness and social skills as well as empathy and the ability to independently shape work processes
• Safe handling of MS Office programs and digital documentation systems
• The motivation of older people to get the best possible treatment
