Regional Manager for Water Management, Africa – Francophonie (m/f/d)

Regional responsibility: You coordinate project execution in francophonic countries in Africa, in particular in the area of settlement water management Project control on site: In close cooperation with the respective office lines and project lines You have contract management, project resources, quality assurance, accounting and tracking, follow-up management and project finances Customer support and representation: You are the central contact person for our local customers and represent Fichtner active in the region Site Responsibility: You maintain and manage our operations in the region Market development and acquisition: You identify market opportunities and cooperation partners, create technical and financial offers including pre-qualifications and/or Expressions of Interest (EoIs) and follow these Project support: If necessary, you will take on professional cooperation in projects or project management in the region and, if necessary, also outside the region Travel and perspective: You regularly travel to the assisted countries; In the long term, it is also possible to take over another or other region.

Complete studies in civil engineering, in urban water management, process engineering or environmental engineering or in a comparable field At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in international project business, ideally related to francophonic markets in Africa Experience in managing complex infrastructure, water management or consulting projects German and French language skills Entrepreneurial thinking, leadership and security in dealing with customers, partners and international stakeholders readiness for regular international travel to the assisted countries
