Do you want to make your contribution to network expansion in the transport network planning in the East region with your technical understanding and skill? You already have first experiences with the planning and project management of network expansion measures in the access transport network for connecting mobile base stations? The topics Ethernet, TCP/IP and IPv6 are not foreign words for you? Then we will work together in the team to shape the network expansion and the future.

As an expert, Mobile & MESN (m/w/d), you plan and project large network expansion measures in the transport network (MESN, IP and/or O&M as well as Mobile Edge (SecGW, RNC, BSC) as a basis for the access network (Mobile) as well as for large customer projects. You create development strategies and planning concepts for the mobile network and control employees in other transport groups during implementation. You control measures within modernization projects in the transport network and start market studies, requirement analyses, feasibility studies and business cases in advance of transport network-related measures. You are planning measures in the transport network with regard to E2E performance (latency, bandwidth, etc.), costs (CAPEX, OPEX) and quality improvement - in close coordination with the other planning groups. You will set up requirements for processes, planning and documentation tools and review them; you will also review planning requirements for the transport network.

What distinguishes you: A completed technical or scientific study or a similar qualification with several years of relevant professional experience. Good knowledge of the transport network and the technologies used; detailed knowledge of several technologies used in the transport network. Good knowledge of network infrastructure (network and mobile networks). Multiannual experience in handling planning tools. Good presentation technology, representation and negotiation skills. Analytical, conceptual and organizational skills as well as the ability to use theoretical knowledge in a concrete case. German and good knowledge of English in word and writing.

This body can be exercised in fulltime or full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).
