for an indefinite activity in full or part-time as a speaker at our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. They take over tasks of the BaFin as a national settlement authority and as part of the Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM). In this context, you are responsible for policy and interpretation issues of settlement law, the drafting of regulatory proposals and opinions in the context of legislative procedures and in the event of a crisis, the legal development of settlement measures. They shall draw up legal opinions in connection with the preparation of resolution plans for institutions, the implementation of resolution measures and on policy issues of settlement in accordance with the Restructuring and Resolution Act (SAG) and the European Banking Resolution Regulation (SRM-VO). They deal with various legal issues, in particular in the areas of banking law, insolvency law, corporate law, capital market law, administrative law and European law (including aid law) In addition, an activity is also possible in the context of the institution-specific settlement planning, as well as the design, implementation and further development of crisis processes, crisis infrastructure and crisis governance of the business unit and, where appropriate, in the context of the implementation of banking processes.

They have reached at least one “satisfactory” in both (state) audits and ideally have several years of professional experience in banking processing law, insolvency law, company law, capital market law, administrative law or European law (including aid law) as a full lawyer. OR They have reached at least one “satisfactory” in the first examination (state part) or the second state exam and have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in one of the above legal areas They have a good economic understanding, and in particular additional degrees are explicitly welcomed in an economic study programme.
