Our client, the owner-managed Carl Walther GmbH, based in Ulm, has been one of the most renowned manufacturers of sports, hunting and government weapons worldwide for over 140 years. Founded in 1886, the traditional company is now known for its products for sporting and hunting shooting as well as self-loading guns for public needs. At the production site Ulm, around 280 employees are currently working and manufacturing both small series and medium quantities with highly automated CNC machines in pre-production and craftsmanship in final assembly. Your tasks: 'Professional basics and optimize processes' Total Responsibility – Control and Optimization of the entire Processes from Purchasing to Delivery with Focus on Efficiency, Quality and Date Care Process design and implementation – Conception and pragmatic implementation of lean production processes according to Lean principles Technology leadership – Expansion of manufacturing competence through modern production technologies and innovative manufacturing processes Leadership and development – building a performance-oriented leadership culture and continuous development of leadership teams Quality assurance – ensuring highest precision standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements
