(Senior) Project Manager Ground-mounted PV & Battery Storage Systems (m/f/d)

You want not only to plan the energy transition, but to implement it specifically? In this role, you control PV open-air and BESS projects from construction to commissioning and ensure that visible reality becomes apparent from planning. Become part of the civil works and actively shape a decentralized, community power supply with real effect on site.

Your tasks

You take over the overall project management of our PV open-air systems and BESS systems from the construction to commissioning. You control technical, commercial and terminological aspects. You are responsible for compliance with project budgets and dates, monitor cost developments and perform proactive risk management. You coordinate the interfaces between EPC service providers:inside, specialist planners:inside, network operators:inside and internal stakeholders:ensure smooth project execution. You control the tender process, check and evaluate offers and conduct contract negotiations for EPC services until successful completion. You implement construction requirements and approval requirements and accompany the construction phase with time, cost and quality controls. You support the financing partners:inside and acting as an interface to banks, civil society associations and project companies, and ensure the economic feasibility and liquidity monitoring.

You have several years of experience (ideally 5+ years) in the project development of PV open spaces (5–50 MWp) or comparable energy and/or Infrastructure projects and know the associated processes, opportunities and challenges. You will bring well-founded knowledge of permission, construction and planning rights and can safely apply them in project practice. You have a degree in renewable energies, engineering or a comparable qualification or training. You have experience in EPC tenders, cost calculations and contract negotiations, and you use economic frameworks specifically to manage our projects. You are an organizational institution, keep an overview in complex projects, prioritize safe and draw your attention through clear, transparent communication to authorities, service providers, municipalities and cooperative partners. You work in a solution-oriented manner, take your own initiative, control processes and stakeholders: both sovereignly and bring travel readiness (including construction meetings and service provider control) as well as a driving licence.

For 2-3 days a month, you will come to Heidelberg for a personal exchange with us and regularly travel to the construction sites for construction meetings.
