Head of CAD Design (m/f/d)

Our client is a successful family company (> 600 MA) in modern engineering timber construction with several locations in Germany and the Netherlands. In the course of further growth, we are exclusively looking for a Head of CAD Construction (m/w/d), who takes responsibility for technical planning and develops the construction department strategically and operatively.

In this key position, you take over the technical and organizational management of the CAD design in timber construction. You ensure efficient processes, coordinate project processing within the team and develop robust technical solutions together with your employees. You will ensure an economical, timely and high-quality implementation of the projects and work closely with adjacent areas such as project management and manufacturing.

Technical and organizational management of the CAD construction department incl. Personnel responsibility Planning, control and prioritization of project and task distribution in the team and ensuring efficient processes Creation, testing and further development of design, execution and detail planning in timber construction Development and optimization of constructive system solutions, standards and details Responsibility for economical, timely and high-quality project execution Close cooperation with project management, production and other interfaces as well as active development of processes and structures

Completed training or studies in civil engineering (e.g. civil engineering, construction engineering, room master (m/w/d) or comparable) Multiannual experience in CAD design, ideally in wood or engineering wood construction Safe handling of CAD systems and good technical understanding First or well-founded leadership experience and joy in the further development of employees Structured, responsible and communicative mode of operation
