Reconstruction of a nuclear plant is a demanding technical and social task. Safe disposal of radioactive waste and waste plays a central role. As an engineer (m/w/d) for the disposal of waste and waste, you take responsibility for the planning, control and monitoring of disposal processes. You combine engineering know-how with practical implementation and work on a long-term task. At the Rheinsberg site, you will find a versatile working environment in the Monitoring department, where you will help design technical processes, coordinate interfaces and work continuously on their optimization. You work closely with internal departments as well as authorities, experts and external partners. It offers varied tasks in a socially relevant environment and long-term perspectives in a stable company.

Engineering processing of processes for the disposal of radioactive substances Coordination, monitoring and control of defined disposal paths and residual material or Flows of waste Planning and monitoring of the treatment, conditioning and storage-oriented packaging of radioactive substances Coordination of internal transports taking into account regulatory requirements Creation and maintenance of detection documentation, specification documents, operating instructions, technical reports and evaluations Examination, maintenance and evaluation of data on radioactive substances in database systems Coordination with authorities, experts and internal departments Participation in the optimization and further development of disposal processes

Your profile

Complete university studies in an engineering, mathematical-nature-scientific or comparable discipline, such as physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, process engineering or nuclear engineering Ideally knowledge of nuclear technology, nuclear engineering restoration or the disposal of radioactive materials Embossed technical understanding and analytical skills Interest in technical, organisational and regulatory issues Secure handling of MS Office and database systems, ideally knowledge in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and SQL Structured, careful and responsible operation Willingness to incorporate into new technical and regulatory issues Interest in continuous process optimization and further development
