Network Designer Naval Communication Systems (m/f/d)

• As part of your role, you define scalable network architectures taking into account the IT security requirements of our customers (including NATO security requirements).

• You define network interfaces to connect subsystems and support the selection of subsystems from a network perspective.

• You tune network solutions and requirements directly with NATO and not NATO customers and clients.

• You accompany integration tests and decreases until commissioning and ensure successful system integration.

• You'll create and provide detailed network documentation (topologies, IP planning, security design) and ensure traceability.

• You have successfully completed a study of computer science, information technology, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.

• You bring the first professional experience in the design of networks and have knowledge in the design and configuration of complex networks (routing, switching, VPN, VLAN, IP planning).

• Ideally, you have knowledge of network information security (security design, firewalls, IDS/IPS, relevant standards).

• You work structured, are communicative, team-oriented and convince in coordination with customers, clients and subcontractors.

• Very good German and English skills in word and writing complete your profile.
