You develop software around control and automation systems for use on submarines, with your range of tasks ranging from maintenance and development of existing software to the implementation of new software components for state-of-the-art systems. From the first idea to the implementation and testing to the bug fixation – you are involved in all phases of our software development process and ensure that we comply with the highest quality standards. You support the definition of software requirements and create software documentation. You take care and further development of the architecture of individual software modules and support the responsible software architects in creating software architectures for complex overall systems as well as technical tuning with customers. As a technical expert, you support project managers and system engineers in matters of the technical feasibility of customer requirements and project planning. You are actively working on improving our skills, development culture, processes, efficiency and innovativeness.

You successfully completed a university degree in the field of computer science or have a comparable qualification and professional experience in the software development of systems. You have experiences in PLC programming (CODESYS, TwinCAT). Ideally, you can safely master object-oriented programming, ideally already in the language C++. You have a very good abstraction and analytical ability and a quality-conscious and professionally flexible working. You want to work into the exciting submarine theme and be willing to take responsibility for individual topics.
