Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager (Indirects) (m/f/d)

As Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you develop and implement procurement, product group and supplier strategies for indirect goods and services. This focuses on cost awareness, quality, security of supply and sustainability. Development and implementation of product group, procurement and process strategies for indirect goods and services to support corporate objectives. Development and implementation of processes for the procurement of indirect goods and services Analysis of internal needs and identification of potentials for improving costs, quality, security of supply and sustainability. Selection, evaluation, negotiation and further development of suppliers as well as the establishment and control of strategic partnerships and a powerful supplier portfolio. Analysis of cost structures, identification and realization of savings potentials and implementation of sustainable cost optimization measures with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Assessment of the commercial and operational impact of procurement decisions to increase value added and profitability. Identification, assessment and control of procurement, market and supply chain risks, as well as ensuring compliance, quality and sustainability requirements. Promoting a stable, efficient and low-risk supply chain and contributing to achieving defined delivery, quality and sustainability goals. Head of strategic procurement projects as well as close cross-functional cooperation and consulting internal stakeholders to further develop indirect procurement.

Complete studies or a comparable qualification in business, supply chain management, purchasing, industrial engineering or a related field. Multiannual professional experience in strategic sourcing, category management, purchasing or a comparable function, ideally in the context of indirect goods and services. Funded knowledge in strategic sourcing, product group management and strategic procurement as well as detectable experience in the development and implementation of procurement, supplier and process strategies. Comprehensive understanding of procurement markets, cost structures, value chains and commercial relationships as well as pronounced analytical and data-based decision-making capability. Experience in the selection, evaluation, negotiation and development of suppliers, combined with strong negotiating and contract management capabilities and the establishment of long-term strategic partnerships. Proven competence in identifying and implementing savings potentials and in developing and implementing sustainable cost optimization measures. Embossed project management, communication and stakeholder management skills. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
