Senior Security Engineer Palo Alto (Cortex) (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the planning, implementation and optimization of security solutions based on Palo Alto Networks Cortex (e.g. Cortex XSIAM, Cortex XDR, Cortex XSOAR, Cortex Data Lake, etc.) Implementation of security analyses and identification of vulnerabilities in networks and systems Development and management of automation processes with Cortex XSOAR (playbooks, integrations, API-based solutions) Implementation and configuration of Palo Alto Firewalls and other security solutions Cooperation with customers and internal teams (project languages German and English) to develop and implement tailored security concepts Implementation of Incident Response activities and support in the investigation of safety incidents Technical documentation, preparation of reports and implementation of training for internal teams and customers Proactive monitoring of security environments and proposals to improve security

Master or Diploma with adequate professional experience or comparable knowledge and skills Adequate professional experience in comparable tasks Practical experience with Palo Alto Cortex products (especially Cortex XDR, Cortex XSIAM or Cortex XSOAR) Deep knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS and Threat Intelligence Experience with script languages like Python to automate processes Ideally Palo Alto Networks XSIAM/ XSOAR Engineer and Analyst and/or other relevant certifications (e.g. Palo Alto Security Operations Architect, CISSP) Very high analytical, systematic and structured operation Very high flexibility, durability and readiness Outstanding social competence as well as experience in coaching and knowledge transfer Impressed team skills with simultaneous leadership skills, leadership personality Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
