Head of Project & Portfolio Management - Large-scale PV projects (m/f/d)

In this key role, you take on the strategic management and further development of our project portfolio with a focus on complex major projects in the field of photovoltaics. You are instrumental in minimising risks, ensuring compliance with the contract and ensuring sustainable business success. As an interface between project teams, management and external partners, you actively shape the future of our projects and processes.

Your tasks: Management and strategic management of a project portfolio with several major projects (multi-project management) Ensuring contractual settlement including consistent implementation of contractual rights and obligations Responsibility for contract management in customer and supplier contracts Focusing projects on corporate goals and responsibility for budget and profitability Strategic decisions on project conditions, budgets and resources in coordination with management and profit center management Professional leadership of project managers and project teams Management of communication with customers and management of internal and external stakeholders Reporting the project status to the top management Escalation management in critical target, budget or resource conflicts Strategic resource planning across multiple projects Identification, assessment and management of risks at project and portfolio level Ensuring quality, costs and appointments across all phases of the project Establishing and developing project management standards, processes and governance structures

Completed study (Bachelor or Master), ideally in the field of electrical engineering or comparable Long-standing professional experience in project management Found experience in contract management of photovoltaic projects (development and implementation) Deep understanding of project-related contract structures in the PV environment Experience in the management of project teams as well as in professional leadership Outstanding skills in stakeholder and conflict management Strong analytical and strategic thinking Experience in managing budgets and resources at portfolio level Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing High readiness to travel to construction sites (>60%)
