Project Developer (m/w/d) – Data Center is responsible for managing complex data center projects, including infrastructure modernisation and capacity expansion. The main tasks include planning, coordination and monitoring of all phases of the project to ensure a timely and budget-compliant implementation. Key tasks include: Development of Data Center projects from the first idea to the building Identification, evaluation and backup of suitable sites (Greenfield & Brownfield) Analysis of location factors such as network connection, area availability, cooling, topography and ability to approve Control of construction planning procedures and approval processes Coordination of planners, experts, network operators and authorities Participation in the development of technical concepts and layouts for data centres Close cooperation with teams in the fields of energy infrastructure, TGA and network connection Support in land negotiations and structuring complex projects

Ideally, you will have the following qualifications and experiences for this position: Completed studies, e.g. in:

• Industrial engineering
• Civil engineering
• Geography / spatial planning / urban planning
• Energy and environmental technology
• Real estate or comparable

At least 5 years of experience in the project development of large infrastructure projects, e.g.:

• Data Center (ideally)
• Transformers / Network Connections
• Renewable energies (battery storage, wind, PV)
• Hydrogen projects
• Industrial and commercial properties

Experience in the Data Center area of advantage, but not absolutely necessary

Very good understanding for:

• Site analyses and area assessment
• geographical and spatial planning relationships (e.g. regional planning, land use, infrastructure axes)

Basic technical understanding, ideally in:

• TGA (Technical building equipment)
• Power supply / high voltage
• Layout and area concepts for data centers
