IT Specialist Databases (m/f/d)

As an IT expert:in you enter the operation, optimization and further development of the database landscapes of our customers and take over the role of the first contact person in demanding IT problems, ensure high availability, security and performance, and supports areas of expertise in data-related requirements. You will receive inquiries and fault messages via our communication channels (telephone, email and ticket system). You collect, manage, maintain and develop the database landscapes of our customers (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and work together with the specialist areas of our customers to solve errors. In this context, you analyze complex disturbances in the customer infrastructure, identify possible sources and correct the causes. Furthermore, you support our customers in the user support - here you are already engaged in experienced employees of our customers in maintaining our established IT solutions.

Complete IT studies, an IT training or a related subject, as an alternative to a comparable training, in the IT field with a focus on databases. Multiannual (3+) experience in the administration of relationonaler databases, as well as very good knowledge in SQL (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Deep knowledge in two of the following fields: experience with monitoring tools and performance analyses, understanding of storage concepts, server architectures and networks as well as knowledge in the field of IT security, data protection and roles / law management. Relevant certifications and product-specific specializations, e.g. ITIL. Personally, we especially like your analytical thinking, a structured working and problem-solving competence, team skills and good Communication skills in German and English as well as your willingness to support our customers in challenging situations.
