Responsibility for the management of the higher-level department Manufacturing IT & Automation in the field of technology, which includes the groups process and building automation, electrical engineering and the electrical workshop

Development of strategic initiatives as well as the presentation of best practices and important industry trends, including the development and implementation of new approaches in the areas of automation and digitalisation

Responsibility for the optimization, standardization and modernization of existing automation technology and process control

Ensuring availability of systems and processes

Management of projects with a view to planning, selection, procurement and commissioning of process control, SCADA and automation systems in need of time, cost and quality

Planning of resources and related priorities and coordination of investment planning in the use of employees in projects and in plant operation

Professional and disciplinary leadership and coaching of group management within the department

Coordination and interface management with regard to the technical planning of projects including all professional stakeholders

Complete engineering studies in the field of automation technology or comparable qualification

Detectionally successful implementation of automation – and digitization projects MES, PCS7, TiA

Multiannual professional practice in a comparable position with leadership experience Expertise in the GMP environment

Knowledge of process control systems and automation systems

Comprehensive knowledge and experience with PLC and SCADA systems, OT area and virtual environments
