The UNIT TGRCSSS is responsible for the specific steering systems in TRATON R&D in accordance with national and international regulations in the international association for the brands

You work in an environment with self-responsibility and design possibilities

Development and interpretation of steering systems, in particular mechatronic systems

You maintain steering systems throughout the entire development process (TRATON)

Creation of specifications, system layouts and calculations for steering systems and components incl. Coordination with other areas and development suppliers in the international environment

Evaluation of offers including coordination and creation of award documents up to nomination

Cooperation with other corporate brands as part of development projects

Documentation in PLM System Windchill and OAS as well as CAD-Catia

Implementation of the requirements of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Functions on steering components as a basis for autonomous driving

FHA, FMEA, calculations and supplier and service provider control

Head of SE teams and project work with international development partners as well as working in agile working environments

Support of electromechanical safety systems as system controllers

Completed degree in Mechatronics, replacement mechanical engineering with corresponding focus

Ideally multi-year professional experience in the automotive/user vehicle

Ideal knowledge in the field of ISO 26262 Functional Safety

Basic knowledge of cyber security

Knowledge of Windchill, OAS, eese and CATIA

Experience in project management

German and English skills

Very good knowledge of MS Office

Class B licence required, C or CE of advantage
