Your task area includes the advance development in the field of Sonar Signal Processing. This includes the predominantly independent design, prototyping including the evaluation and testing of signal processing algorithms and analysis tools focusing on AI-based “Machine Learning” and “Deep Learning” methods for mining hunting. You identify new and innovative signal processing and modelling techniques and introduce them. The cooperation in the processing of studies is also one of your tasks. You participate in the evaluation and preparation of sea trials and predominately independently and prepare the results. You also support the implementation of the product software.
You have successfully completed technical university studies (e.g. electrical engineering, communications technology, physics or mathematics) and have acquired a well-founded knowledge in the fields of signal processing with a focus on “Machine Learning” and data analysis. Ideally, you bring first professional experience and knowledge in digital and stochastic signal processing. You have very good knowledge in MATLAB and Python and bring practical experience in working with “Machine Learning” Frameworks. Creative, self-employed work in a team as well as good representation and conciliation skills of work results are a key feature. You are ready for solution and target-oriented work within predetermined schedules. Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing are of course with us. You are interested in occasional business trips in Germany and abroad.
