We give impulses, set standards and ensure implementation. We are looking for a personality for regional development and land use planning. With a total of 14 employees, you are responsible for updating and clarifying the land use plan and for coordinating cooperation with the neighbouring federal states regarding regional development. In addition to the basic questions of the preparatory construction planning, the area search and protection for wind turbines as well as other space-relevant energy carriers are currently in particular focus.

You guide an interdisciplinary unit (personal and resource responsibility, development of targets and coordination of workflows), clarify and agree on basic, legal and procedural issues of land use planning and the preparatory building control planning (global directives, specialist instructions, guidelines, federal legislation, etc.), coordinate and control regional development within the metropolitan region and neighbouring countries, the authority for urban development and housing to the outside, for example in hamburg-wide events, supra-regional specialist bodies, conferences and events.
