Business Unit Controller:in (m/f/d)

In the division, you take a central role in controlling and act as a business partner: to strengthen the financial management and further development of the business sustainably.

As a business partner, you advise and support the Management Division in strategic and operational controlling topics and actively contribute to the achievement of short and long-term goals. You identify market and business risks at an early stage, take countermeasures together with those responsible and accompany their monitoring. An efficient, meaningful reporting system will provide you with the cross-functional end-to-end perspectives and transparently support management decisions. Regular budgets, forecasts and medium-term planning, evaluate strategies through modelling and contribute to the portfolio and investment decision. Monthly business figures are available, analyse deviations and evaluate risks and opportunities in terms of business plans. For management, you will develop ad-hoc analyses, business cases, presentations and decision-making bases and develop concrete action recommendations on this basis. By optimizing reporting, ERP and BI systems, as well as the further development of basic processes and controlling principles, you are driving the continuous improvement ahead and working in corresponding projects.

You have a successful degree in business management or a comparable degree programme and brings many years of experience in controlling an international company or division at corporate level. Very good knowledge of business planning and performance, investment and portfolio analysis, management accounting, process improvement as well as in the creation of plan/actual analyses, you are sure to make informed decisions. Working with ERP systems, in particular SAP, you are very experienced and using business intelligence tools routined to translate complex data into clear analyses and reports. A high level of expertise in understanding details and abstraction at management level allows you to communicate information in a targeted, concise and address-oriented manner. With pronounced analytical skills and a structured, conceptual way of working, you systematically address topics and develop pragmatic, effective solutions. As a business partner:in your own initiative, you actively seek exchanges with stakeholders, drive topics forward and enjoy increasing the division’s business success sustainably. You master German and English very well in word and writing and move safely in an international, cross-functional environment.
