Higher education (master or equivalent) in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, Computational Neuroscience or a related subject Strong interest in neuromorphous computing, AI hardware or biologically inspired computing models Basic understanding of computer architecture, parallelism and energy efficiency Funded knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Spiking Neural Networks and neuromorphic algorithms Machine learning and neural networks Analog/RF or Mixed Signal Circuit Development Digital, embedded systems and hardware-related software Python and/or C/C++ Simulation and ML frameworks (e.g. Brian, NEST, PyTorch, Lava, etc.)

It is a qualification body within the meaning of the Science Time Contract Act (WissZeitVG), which can be employed to promote the following scientific or artistic qualification: acquiring professional experience in the implementation of the project “Neuromorphic computing”. The duration of the employment contract will be adequately designed for the desired scientific qualification.
