Finance and Accounting Officer (m/f/d)

You contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and support the consolidated financial statements – you will constantly learn about this. In consolidated accounting, you are actively working on the consolidation of domestic and foreign subsidiaries. You process and judge accounting relevant to the financial statements such as provisions or assessment questions – with professional sensitivity. You support the creation of an annex and a position report. Revenue tax pre-registrations, annual statements as well as further reports (e.g. summary notifications, Intrastat and statistical reports, etc.) go reliably through the stage with your help. You help develop and rethink internal policies, standards and processes. Digitalization and automation? Your thing – you actively drive modern solutions and also run your own projects. You take over AD-hoc analyses and special tasks related to accounting and taxes. You report to the Head of Accounting and work closely with him, as well as with the Head of Taxes. You are an important interface to auditors, tax advisors and internal teams.

You have a business degree with a focus on accounting or a commercial/tax-legal training with a further education on the account holder (m/w/d). You look back on several years of experience in accounting in the main book - ideally already with first insights into corporate accounting or auditing, preferably in the Big4 environment. You have a well-founded knowledge of HGB's accounting and knowledge of turnover tax law. You control the handling of ERP systems (SAP desirable, but not required) and have very good MS Office (in Excel) knowledge. Team spirit, clear communication and the ability to make complex topics understandable also belong to your strengths as well as your analytical skills. Interest in the independent development of new topics. You are driven by your curiosity on new topics, desire for further development and are delighted to improve projects and processes, especially with regard to automation and digitalization.
