For our department Procurement in Hamburg we are looking for you as soon as possible Outsourcing Manager* Global Technology @ Berenberg In an era where digitalization and modern IT infrastructure revolutionize banking, we design a technology-based bank where you work closely with our business units as an IT professional. Our technology teams offer you an environment that presents you with exciting challenges – whether through support and further development of legacy systems or the introduction of modern technologies such as AI, machine learning and highly automated commercial applications. Our IT department with about 300 employees mostly works agilely according to a Scrumban approach and covers areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, operations, process and governance, software development and architecture. We are particularly proud to develop almost all our applications in-house, which gives us unique flexibility and innovative strength. Our Tech Stack includes modern technologies such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript and Python, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes as well as Azure Cloud, Azure SQL Database and Oracle database with PL/SQL. Your role in the team You act as a central point of contact for outsourcing and third-party topics and advise the specialist areas as a competent Sparring partner. You control the entire end to end contract and outsourcing process – from risk-oriented testing to completion – and actively promote the further development of regulatory requirements (including MaRisk, DORA). In addition, you are responsible for controls, the maintenance of the registers and the cooperation with internal and external audit bodies along the 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence.

Completed banking training, studies of economics and Business Informatics or Legal Qualification Funded regulatory knowledge (MaRisk, DORA) and experience in the audit environment Multiannual experience in outsourcing management incl. Contract negotiations Basic technical understanding and very good German and English skills Analytical, structured and solution-oriented methods as well as high communication strength and team orientation
