Number: MER00040AD The Risk & Controlling department in Finance & Risk Mercedes-Benz Bank develops highly efficient risk models and processes for the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services companies in Germany. In the “Risk Strategy & Bank Steering” team, the different types of risk are combined as part of a total bank control. The topics range from cross-risk stress testing, model validation of the risk models used to the definition of risk strategy and portfolio-based risk management. In addition, the analysis and reporting of interest rate change and liquidity risks is in the team's task. We are looking for your support for the topic 'Objective reports in the context of the overall bank control' (the focus on own resources reports). The following tasks await you: Creation and quality assurance of supervisory reports for the Mercedes-Benz Bank with a focus on own resources reports (COREP Own Funds and Leverage Ratio) Optimization of reporting and quality assurance processes Planning and monitoring of supervisory codes Creation of technical specifications for the care and further development of the reporting system ABACUS or to optimize data delivery processes Conduct and documentation of technical tests Preparation and monitoring of external and internal audits, contact persons for auditors and supervisory authorities Continuous updating of documentation (process descriptions, specialist concepts) Participation in projects (e.g. in the context of the transformation of the Mercedes-Benz Bank, especially for topics in reporting)

Ideally, you will bring: Completed economic or mathematical studies or comparable training with bank-related background Relevant professional experience in the field of reporting / supervisory law in the financial sector knowledge of regulatory requirements for banks, in particular requirements in the reporting of credit institutions, desirable Basic knowledge of accounting rules for credit institutions (HGB and IFRS) knowledge of the specific MBB systems and processes, at best in the reporting software ABACUS, desirable Knowledge and desirable practice experience with data analysis tools and processes Knowledge of processes in internal risk management of a credit institution including data processing processes desirable
