The core of your activity is the development and optimization of Cobol application systems in the IBM Mainframe environment (e.g. debt collection, contribution accounting services) and the integration and configuration of external standard software. You secure the stable operation of the supervised systems and actively promote their continuous modernization. In addition, you are actively working on projects and shaping the transformation into a modern, standardized system landscape based on SAP. You are testing new technological approaches and introducing fresh ideas to further increase efficiency in the BarmeniaGotha Group's in- and exkasso. In close cooperation with the Department of Payment Flows, you analyse requirements and support business analyses and test management.

With your multi-year practical experience in Cobol development, ideally in the financial services environment, you enrich our team. In addition, you already have experience in business analysis, project work and ideally enjoy working in the agile environment. Knowledge in DB2, TSO and DELTA (or the willingness to work in it). Experience with tools and technologies such as CMN / SVN (Source Code Management), ISPF, SDSF and UC4. A completed training as a software developer, a relevant study or comparable qualifications complete your profile.
