Lighting Technician / Event Technology Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for the Theater Ulm at 01.12.2026 or for availability an employeein as a lighter*in / specialist for event technology (m/w/d) Full-time, fixed-term employment is limited for a period of two years. The theatre Ulm is a three-saving house with about 300 employees, about 30 new productions and about 460 performances per season. The lighting department works with a team of nine lighters, two lighting masters and one department manager. In the performance mode, work is carried out in shiftwork, usually in early and late shifts. It is also part of everyday work. The payment is made up to 6 TVöD pay group plus theatre service supplement.

Your tasks: light-technical supervision of samples, performances and guest plays Operation of headlamps, electrical installations and other lighting equipment Repair, maintenance and testing of lighting technology, moving lights and network technology Testing of mobile electrical equipment

Your profile: completed vocational training in the electrotechnical field or as a specialist for event technology ideally relevant professional experience in event or theatre; with appropriate qualifications, applications without comparable professional experience are also welcome good knowledge of how to use light panels, headlights, moving lights and control signals; Knowledge in the field of network technology, in particular Ethernet and ArtNet, are advantageous independent and reliable operation, team capability and flexibility Freedom of dizziness and willingness to work at higher altitudes Willingness to work in shiftwork, weekends and holidays
