Head of Logistics (m/f/d)

As department management logistics, you are all responsible for the planning, control and optimization of all logistics processes (incoming goods, storage, shipping, transport). You lead, answer and develop the individual logistics teams. With your teams, you ensure efficient and timely material supply for production and customers. You implement lean management methods and digital solutions for process optimization. You are responsible for national and international freight management in procurement and distribution, including customs processing and compliance with all relevant regulations. You develop strategies to reduce stocks and improve stock handling frequency without jeopardising the delivery capacity. You work closely with internal departments and external service providers. You develop and implement strategic logistics concepts to support company growth.

You have a degree in logistics, business management or a comparable qualification You have a multi-year professional experience in a leading role in logistics, ideally in an industrial company You have profound knowledge in supply chain management, warehouse management and transport logistics You convince by leadership, communication strength and enforcement You think analytic, act strategically and possess a hands-on mentality. You are safe in handling ERP systems (ideally SAP) and modern logistics tools
