35-hour week | 2-shift | Takeover option | IG metal For our long-term customer, an established company from mechanical engineering in Remscheid, we are looking for an experienced CNC lathe (m/w/d) at the fastest possible time. The workpiece spectrum ranges from smaller components with a length of about 30 cm to large components with a length of up to 9 meters.

Your job

• CNC turning of sophisticated precision components for mechanical engineering
• machining of workpieces of different sizes from about 30 cm to 9 m length
• Set up and operate CNC lathes
• Work with a hamper control
• The Weiler control is comparable to the Siemens Sinumerik control in its operation and programming
• Monitoring the ongoing processing process
• Implementation of measurement and quality controls on the manufactured components
• Reading and implementing technical drawings
• tool change and adjustment of machine and machining parameters
• Secure transport and positioning of larger workpieces using bridge cranes
• independent and quality-conscious work

Your profile

• Complete training in machining mechanics, CNC turning or comparable technical skills
• Professional experience in CNC turning desirable
• Experience with Siemens Sinumerik is advantageous due to the similarity to the used Weiler control
• Safe handling of technical drawings and measuring devices
• Experience in handling larger or heavy workpieces of advantage
• Ready to work in the 2-shift system
• Reliable, careful and independent operation
• High quality awareness
