The training profile Koch/Kochin at Hilton: Do you want to become a professional in the creative preparation and presentation of culinary specialities? You've been enjoying cooking and eating healthy for a long time? Do you want to establish your knowledge so that your name may even be seen on TV in a few years already? The cook/cook training at Hilton conveys all the essential foundations of the profession and also a wide range of expertise in various kitchen, lounge and restaurant concepts. In addition, you will gather experiences and skills in the fields of catering, goods management, events and conferences. Teaching at the vocational school provides support for the necessary occupational relationships. You learn early to take responsibility, exceed expectations, build networks and thus develop your personality. You can try and get yourself in. • You have a good school degree in your baggage (e.g. MSA)
• You have good knowledge of German and English
• You have a passion for dealing with food and their creative preparation
• You are interested in healthy nutrition and want to learn more about it
• You are someone who is “cocked” and highly motivated, committed, flexible and reliable
• You like to work in the team
• You enjoy dealing with people of different cultures
• You stay friendly, and positive, even in spontaneously stressful situations
• You have good ways of handling and a positive appearance
• It is advantageous (but not necessarily necessary) if you have already had practical experience in the field of gastronomy.

• Our apprentice trainings As a supplement to the daily learning in the departments and to the theoretical knowledge from the vocational school, there are regular and for the entire period of training, apprentice training. This is not only about the professional but also about the personal development of our apprentices.
