The Center for Nutrition and Diabetology is a self-employed institution that has been pooling comprehensive expertise in nutritional therapy since 2015 and accompanies patients on their way to a healthier diet. The focus is on individual care as well as the diagnosis, counselling and therapy of dietary diseases, especially in case of malnutrition. The work is based on a holistic understanding of nutrition as an essential factor for health, performance and well-being.

Ensuring and optimising nutritional patient care

Implementation and control of screening methods (e.g. NRS-2002, MNA) and in-depth assessments (e.g. SGA) for analysis of nutritional conditions

Active cooperation in the interdisciplinary nutrition team (Nutritional Team)

Independent implementation and control of dietary and nutritional measures

Pre- and post-processing of nutritional precautionary studies as well as carrying out training and training events for patients and relatives

Support for collecting area-related data on internal quality assurance

Completed training as a dietary assistant*in or study of nutritional science Ecotrophology

Experience in the treatment of malnutrition and well-founded nutritional knowledge

Knowledge in the preparation of indication-related parenteral infusion plans and continuous further education in enteral/parenteral diet

Insufficient professional experience in dietary and nutritional advice and training of patients in the clinical field

Ideally certification as a specialist in clinical nutrition therapy

Secure handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as knowledge in KIS

Friendly, patient-oriented appearance as well as team skills and social competence

Legally necessary evidence of immunization against measles
