The Clinic for Trauma Surgery, Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery is one of the largest clinics for surgery on the musculoskeletal system with over 5,000 operations, including almost 800 endoprostheses, and 5,000 stationary patients and 110 beds. As a supra-regional trauma center, the clinic is certified together with the other participating clinics of the UMG and specializes in the treatment of severe injuries. Further focuses such as endoprosthetics, pelvic surgery, spine surgery, hand surgery, knee and shoulder surgery, foot surgery, child orthopaedics and plastic surgery offer highly specialized patient care and a very wide range of training options. The clinic is a certified endoprosthetic center of the maximum supply and spinal center of the maximum supply of the DWG.
