Head of the Department of Education, Family and Culture, including Personal Responsibility for 195 employees in different professional groups Representation of the department within and outside the administration, including communication with political bodies (e.g. municipal representation, committees) and external Budget Responsibility: Ensuring efficient and targeted use of funds within the department Preparation and support of political decision-making processes Conceptual and structural control and further development of the department as well as individual institutions associated with the department, in particular further development of the school and kita landscape Implementation of measures from the current organisational investigation

Active cooperation with all actors in the regional educational, sports and cultural landscape Further development of cooperation with day care facilities and schools Participation and expert opinion in (over-)regional planning, e.g. school needs, kita needs, youth support planning Press work in the department A change in the assignment or organisational form is reserved

A completed academic degree (Diplom, Master or Magister) in the fields of administration, law or economic and social sciences.

You can also apply if you have a successful degree as a graduate manager or Bachelor of Arts - Public Management or a comparable appropriate degree can present and already a post of the grade A12 or the payment group EG12 or higher.
