Faculty Advisor - Organization and Controlling (m/f/d)

Do you want to actively shape the Faculty of Technology and understand yourself as a dedicated personality that professionally and strategically supports and advises the Dean? With your communicative, motivated and reliable way, you play a central role in the faculty organization and are the first respondent to faculty-related topics. Through your solution-oriented and structured work and your view for details, you are responsible for the planning and controlling of the faculty finances and the staff. Start as a faculty consultant (m/w/d) in full-time (39.5 hours per week) at our university at the next possible time – initially limited to two years. With around 6,000 students and 500 people in teaching, research and administration, the Pforzheim University is one of the largest universities for applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg. You work closely with the dean and support in all aspects of the faculty management, e.g. in defining work packages to achieve strategic objectives of the faculty You are responsible for the planning and controlling of the faculty finances and faculty staff You are the central point of contact of the faculty for all topics such as financial questions or questions about the job plan You participate in (Gremien) meetings, for whose administrative preparation and follow-up you are responsible You take over the conception and, if necessary, projecting of faculty-specific topics, such as, for example, account structures or organization of structures and processes

A completed bachelor's degree in an economic or economic study programme Multiannual professional experience in the commercial environment, preferably in the fields of general management, controlling or organisational development Ideally knowledge of the university landscape, university processes and the organization of technical or engineering studies You understand how to combine the different needs of different groups of people with your high sensitivity You attach importance to performing tasks conscientiously and independently You have a pronounced social and situation-oriented communication competence
