As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The area of Customer Solution (CS) Land & Luft is understood as a supporter and driver of the digitization of the Bundeswehr in the dimensions of land and air. Our area supports both the military and civil organisational areas of the Bundeswehr in the operational, process and organisational challenges of digitalization.

Your profile:

• Complete study of engineering, business informatics or technical business management
• At least five years of professional experience in release management and process development and harmonisation
• At least three years of experience in the field of IT
• Impressed readiness and motivation for continuous further development
• High level of initiative, commitment and solution-oriented thinking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German
• Structured and analytical methods
• Team skills and joy at work in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams
• Experience with agile methods desirable (e.g. Scrum, SAFe)

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for compliance, implementation and further development of the release management process
• Planning, coordination and execution of software releases across all system landscapes
• Harmonization of existing processes and standardization of methods throughout the release process
• Creation and maintenance of release documentation as well as reporting to management and stakeholders
• Management and further development of the used release management tools
• Analysis, evaluation and harmonisation of the existing tool landscape
• Designing the system architecture within the framework of release topics and technical integrations
• Control and support of the integration of prototypes into existing system and process landscapes
• Coordination of external suppliers and service providers as part of the release process
• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
