Design our future with us – and yours. To support our electric team in production/packaging, we are looking for a mechatronic (m/w/d) for the interchangeable layer. The mechatronics engineer in production/packaging is mainly responsible for the repair, adjustment and maintenance of the technical equipment at the Wuppertal plant. These include the above-mentioned machines, box fiber systems, as well as cremation/cards, fiber processing systems and all packaging systems.

Main tasks • Ensuring and complying with safety and environmental standards, compliance and further development of standards (parameters, settings, procedures) to achieve qualitative and quantitative specifications • Ensuring and reviewing quality policies by adhering to the rules and questions of the actual state in order to identify, analyze and actively implement potential improvements • Eliminate disruptions to the production plants at machine standstills and quality defects using the JJPS methodology (error analysis, data evaluation, standards) • Documentation of activities in maintenance and repair documents in Maximo • Continuous improvement measures • Deleting the employees of the production area during the break times and guiding the quality documentation/processes at the plants • Working with work projects (e.g. building and commissioning of modules/plants, department strategies such as Wuppertal 2.0) and advancing the culture of change • acceptance of modules/plants at the supplier • Review of spare parts consumption, withdrawals to identify cost reduction potentials • Cleaning of the work area and maintenance of equipment and equipment • Escalation of material problems and subsequent solution finding in cooperation with other specialist departments such as QA, technology, maintenance, plant planning • Support and assignment of external companies and temporary workers, as well as the introduction of new employees Needed Experiences & Soft Skills: • Safety and quality awareness • customer orientation • Environmentally conscious • Understands the packaging process and the above-mentioned production process • High engagement/motivation • Communication and team skills • Structured problem solving capability • Process orientation • Decision-making ability: makes decisions independently • Loadability and flexibility (subject to shift and multi-working)
