As a research assistant*in (m/w/d) you help to advance the development of disciplinary and interdisciplinary cooperation within the UA Ruhr, the expansion of international research cooperation and the continuous development of further cross-site joint activities. The processing of the extensive tasks of coordinating the research community is divided between the three locations involved. Partial coordination and strategic development of the formats of the Research Community “Future (of) Education” Conception, organisation and follow-up of the annual General Assembly as well as regular colloquia and multi-site workshops Development and implementation of innovative networking formats (e.g. Science Speed Dating, topic-focused exchange formats) Coordination and support of invitations from international top researchers Conceptual development of funding and networking offerings for Early Career Researcher (e.g. cross-site doctoral support, research award) Support and advice of members in the initiation of independent events within the Research Community Promoting interdisciplinary and cross-site cooperation within the UA Ruhr Conception and implementation of active science communication and participation in the strategic external representation of the Research Community Support for the development of joint research and third-party funding initiatives

Higher education (master or comparable) in higher education Detectable relevant research experience in the field of teaching research and education technologies Funded experience in coordinating larger, cross-site research alliances or comparable scientific cooperation structures Detectional participation in third-party funding applications (e.g. DFG, BMBF, EU) Very good knowledge of the national research landscape in the field of education research Sovereign appearance in interdisciplinary contexts as well as proven experience in the moderation of scientific voting processes Excellent knowledge of German and English (safe for negotiation) High strategic competence, initiative and the ability to conceptually control complex development processes Competence in at least one of the two languages and the willingness to acquire the other are assumed.
