Sourcing Project Manager/in (m/f/d)

For our location in Solingen we are looking for a Sourcing Project Manager (w/m/d) at the next time:

The position is assigned to the strategic purchasing of Unger Germany and includes two key tasks:

(1) As part of local and global product development projects, you are responsible for ensuring a time-, quality- and cost-oriented product launch on the purchase side. To do this, develop and coordinate action options and related facts (in particular costs and timing) between the project team and the supplier. You work with the Project Management Tool Wrike and manage deviations in the project plan proactively.

(2) In your strategic purchasing function, you work closely with the international shopping team of Unger and implement the global purchasing policy with the suppliers you serve. This includes implementing supplier management, in particular ensuring the supply of goods at strategic level, selecting, evaluating and developing suppliers, cost management and designing (frame) contracts. Your tasks in strategic purchasing include participation in the prevention and elimination of quality deviations as well as independent projects on cost savings and risk reduction in the supply chain.

Your tasks: Cooperation in product development projects and independent work on sourcing projects Collection, comparison and negotiation of offers Management and communication of costs and timings Close cooperation in international teams from Purchasing, OPS, Marketing, R+D, Quality, Compliance and others Cooperation with national and international suppliers Supplier management according to the requirements of global purchasing policy Development of problem solutions and alternatives in purchasing

You report to Head of Sourcing, Europe.

Completed commercial vocational training and economic completion (Bachelor or the like) Multiannual professional experience in the strategic purchasing of a manufacturing company, as far as possible in the middle class Ideal: Experience in sourcing of plastic, metal, textiles or components for water treatment Detectable experience and skills in project management Very good English knowledge in word and writing International professional experience very advantageous Team player with very good communication skills Negotiations Good self-organisation and ability to work parallel to various problems Ability to understand technical facts
