Welding specialist / welder (m/f/d)

For over 30 years, MBH Metallbearbeitung Harz GmbH has been manufacturing high-quality components for the vehicle industry at the Elbingerode site. Our core products include axle bearing components, traction and impact elements, industrial bearing housings, transmission components and prototypes.

As a Q1 supplier of various customers, we meet the highest quality and safety standards. In addition to series production, we also take on wage work and the processing of supplied materials in small, medium and large series – including turning, milling, sawing, measuring, welding and painting. We process workpieces made of cast iron, steel, stainless steel, aluminum and manganese.

Your tasks & responsibilities

• Conducting welding work according to drawing and technical specifications
• Application of common welding methods (e.g. MAG, MIG, WIG – depending on the qualification)
• Preparation, alignment and stapling of components
• Quality control of welds and documentation of work steps
• Maintenance and maintenance of the equipment used and compliance with safety requirements
• Cooperation with colleagues from manufacturing, device engineering and quality management
• Audit preparation and implementation in the welding area
• Conduction and monitoring of weld testing
• Testing requirements with selection of suitable welding methods
• Creation of welding instructions and work instructions

This will bring you with

• Completed technical training, ideally as a welder, metal builder, construction mechanic (m/w/d) etc.
• Qualification as an international/European welding expert (IWS/EWS) (m/w/d) mandatory
• Valid welding certificates or readiness to refresh via our operation
• Safe handling of technical drawings
• Experience in the field of robot welding systems with KUKA control desirable or interest in developing in the area
• Quality awareness, craftsmanship and a structured way of working
