Your location In October 2020, the Johannites in Stöckelstr. 41 in Leipzig- Schönefeld opens the interdisciplinary early funding center, "JoSchua". It supports and helps families with children who are affected or threatened by a disability or who show themselves inconspicuous. All services can be used from birth to school entrance of the child. The aim of our work is the early detection and treatment of imminent or already existing disabilities. We consider each child holistically in his family context. As part of an open consultation, parents can contact us confidentially, without obligation and free of charge if they suspect a development risk or disability with their child or perceive certain vulnerabilities. Our services include detailed development diagnostics, individual funding and treatment planning, outpatient and mobile early funding, guidance and counselling of parents and cooperation in the interdisciplinary team. A logopedia and ergotherapy practice is integrated into our early promotion center."
