ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements.

Structure, supervision and documentation of laboratory and measurement structures

Cooperation with technical development projects in the field of micro-optics

Support for design tasks and technical documentation

Independent processing of small technical projects with reference to measuring technology, digitization or production

Support in digitizing development, manufacturing and administration processes, e.g. with Power BI

Research and testing of new digital tools and AI-based approaches to process improvement

Natural/engineering studies, for example physics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or comparable

Embossed technical understanding and interest in practical development and laboratory work

Affinity for data analysis, process optimization and digitization, ideally first experiences with Power BI, Python, MATLAB or comparable tools

Knowledge of CAD or design is advantageous

Structured and independent operation

Good knowledge of German and English
