Head of Beer Production (m/f/d)

You guide the entire production process from brewhouse, fermentation and storage cellar to filtration and first maintenance Through your leadership style and the further development of your employees, you promote an open, security-conscious and team-oriented work culture The smooth, efficient and cost-conscious operation is always safe and actively shapes it You are responsible for the production budget, keeps the key figures in mind and derives targeted measures By analyzing KPIs, you identify optimization potentials – without compromising quality Modern production methods, such as automation, digital process monitoring and lean approaches, actively advance and anchor them in everyday life Quality has the highest priority for you: You ensure compliance with all relevant standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO, Energy Management) Together with laboratory and quality assurance, you will ensure consistently highest product quality You continuously develop processes and recipes and drive innovations in the product world New beers, seasonal specialties and innovative drinks are designed and market-ready Market trends – from Craft Beer to non-alcoholic products – you have a look at them and translate them into specific product ideas You work closely with marketing and sales and accompany product launches from idea to market Sustainability and efficiency are agreed in your action: You are responsible for the sustainable use of resources such as energy, water and CO2 and promote appropriate measures

A successfully completed study in the field of brewing, beverage technology, food technology and complementary qualifications through your experience as brewers and malts You convince with strong leadership and communication skills and make it possible to motivate and take people along You are close to the event: Your presence in production and close collaboration with your team will help you identify challenges early and ensure a smooth process You combine your high problem solving competence with a deep technical understanding – both for the brewing process and for the plant engineering used Quality is not negotiateable for you: You have a strong quality awareness and a subtle sensory sensitivity You go new ways, introduce innovative ideas and continuously develop processes and products A structured, responsible and team-oriented way of working is obvious to you You have extensive knowledge of brewing technology – especially in the areas of fermentation, yeast management, filtration and maintenance The handling of modern production facilities and automation systems (e.g. Siemens Braumat) is familiar to you You know the common quality management systems such as HACCP, IFS and ISO standards and know how these are effectively implemented in everyday life You also think economically and keep an overview: Your business understanding allows you to create reports and key payment systems and to derive sound decisions
