We seek a tech-enthusiastic student to join us in the Microsurgical Applications group of Advanced Development at ZEISS Meditec to help us shape proof-of-principle demonstrators for next-gen healthcare product features. As member of our team, you will leverage your fast-prototyping and Design Thinking skills and passion to open tackle real-world challenges.

During your internship, you will: design hard- and software solutions to address intraoperative workflow problems of surgeons

gather and integrate customer feedback to refine your designs

build proof-of-concept demonstrators and test your solutions with product management and clinical partners

cooperation with an interdisciplinary team of technical and application experts

participate in lively student community at ZEISS

Enrolled in a bachelor or master program in industrial design, mechanical engineering, medical engineering, UX design or any related field

Familiarity with user-centered design and design thinking processes.

Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with almost prototyping

Creative, innovative, and problem-oriented mindset

Well-organized and self-motivated

Enjoys building bridges and networks

A good communicator, both in German and English
